APMI GROUP | Residential Insulation

Don’t settle for second best - insulate with Insulfoam and do it right the first time!

Are you looking for a more energy efficient way to insulate your home?

APMI Group introduces Insulfoam, Australia’s first all Australian made two component polyurethane foam. We customise our foams to meet your specifications. It’s perfect for all areas; underfloors, ceilings and in new and existing walls.

Do you want to reduce your energy bills and carbon footprint?

Insulfoam has about twice the R-value per inch of traditional batt insulation, making it more energy efficient. Investing in Insulfoam will reduce your energy bills and help save the environment – the fastest way to recover your investment in insulation is to install the most efficient solution on the market today.

Did you know you can insulate your existing walls with Insulfoam?

Up to half of your heat loss can be through your walls. If your home has insulation in the ceiling but not in the walls, over 50% of your heat loss can be through your walls. Double brick or brick veneer homes have a cavity between the external brickwork and the interior brickwork or plasterboard wall. Just fill this gap with Insulfoam to provide an air barrier and stop the heat transfer through the walls. This makes your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

Tired of having cold floors?

Using Insulfoam under floors and in your crawlspace will solve this problem. Installation is easy; it does not fall down like batts and is installed at a rate of 30 seconds per metre. Insulfoam is easily sprayed into all the nooks and crannies. Your floors will be warm in winter and cool in summer.

Insulfoam is DIY – Insulate your home in stages and save on labour costs.

Don’t wait around for contract sprayers, or worry that you need to have the whole job done in one go. Insulfoam offers a DIY solution so you can choose when the job is done and you can stagger the work to coincide with renovations or new build projects. Alternatively we can arrange a contractor to come on site to do the work for you in stages – no job is too small. We offer the perfect solution to enable you to insulate your home when you are ready – whatever works best for you.

Insulfoam versus contract sprayers?

Contract sprayers use water blown foam. Water blown foam has low insulation properties therefore you need more of it to achieve the same ratings. Water blown foam used in house insulation cannot be sprayed thinner than 100mm, therefore wastage occurs – you are paying for all the foam that is trimmed and thrown away! Insulfoam can be sprayed any thickness from 10mm. Insulfoam 32 sprayed at 50mm controls 90% of the heat loss whilst providing an R2.6 - this will leave a cavity for wiring and plumbing.

Do you want insulation that won’t sag or settle or need replacing in a few years?

Tests have shown that Insulfoam has an indefinite life and as long as it is not subjected to UV light, it will last the life of the building.

And Insulfoam has been tested to ASTM D1692 / ISO 3882 / BS 4735 and is classified as self extinguishing.
