Look at these great reasons to use EnerBond SF!
Quick and easy to apply – save time and money
Traditional adhesives are very slow to use in comparison. EnerBond SF can allow more time for other activities, as the applying of adhesive is quicker.
One 680g can replaces a large quantity of traditional adhesives, up to 20 300ml tubes
This saves time as you are not replacing tubes every couple of sheets. There is also much less product to carry around. EnerBond SF offers a cost saving of up to 33% when compared with traditional adhesives.
EnerBond SF can be applied in the wet as it is moisture cured
As you may be aware, most of the traditional adhesives cannot be applied easily onto wet timber. EnerBond SF uses moisture to cure, because of this there are no problems when applying onto wet timber. An added benefit is the saving of your time when it has been raining as there is no need to wait for the timber to dry.
EnerBond SF expands slightly to take up variations along the joists
EnerBond SF is a polyurethane foam based product. It has been specifically designed to expand into any gaps (up to 2mm) left between your joists and flooring. This will help in the reduction of squeaks.
Once loaded onto the applicator gun, EnerBond SF can be stored for long periods of time without going off
Traditional adhesives do not store well, ie, they have to be thrown out if it is not finished, so you save more money by using EnerBond SF.
EnerBond SF flows consistently in all weathers
Traditional adhesives are not easy to apply in the cold or hot, they either don’t want to come out or do not stop flowing. EnerBond SF does not have this problem; it will flow just as well at 0˚C as at 50˚C.
Applied through our unique applicator gun
The applicators are high quality Belgium made tools. APMI Group offers two applicators; a disposable gun for one off jobs or a professional gun which, if maintained properly, will last a lifetime. Both applicator guns are airtight. Therefore the adhesive does not set in the gun. This is also ensures that the adhesive does not dribble. This reduces waste and mess around the job sites.
Use EnerClean to keep extend the life of your applicator gun
EnerClean is a cleaning solution for dissolving uncured polyurethane foam from substrates and applicator tools. APMI Group recommends that EnerClean be used every 6 to 12 cans.
PLEASE NOTE: cured foam will not be dissolved with EnerClean
To clean your applicator tool, screw a can of EnerClean onto the gun between cans of foam. Spray the cleaner through the gun until the foam stops flowing and the cleaner sprays out. Shake the gun to move the cleaner around inside the gun and let it sit for about 1 minute. Then pull the trigger on the gun spraying cleaner through the tool until the can is empty. Then place your next can of foam on the gun pull the trigger until the foam is flowing.
